Can you tell us a little about yourself and your blog?

I'm Pieni Lintu from Finland. Pieni Lintu is my Blogger nickname, it's Finnish and means "small bird". My big brother used to call me as "pieni lintu" when we were kids.

I'm married and I have two lovely boys (2005 and 2007). I'm 30 years old.

My blog is mostly a "lifestyle" blog and everything pretty that I love; like vintage, 2nd hand shopping, recycling, handcrafts, nature, clothing, my kids, photography, food, home interior, living my life simply and making things self instead of buying stuff. I do love shopping, I'm a girl you know. But I try to buy our clothes on sale.

Are you a full time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why?

This is just a hobby! I have been doing this now over 3 years. At first my blog was about home interior and children's clothing but now I keep capturing moments and pretty details in life. I love taking pictures and editing photos.

If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?

Hmmm..turn off the word verification!! Watermark your pictures. Think how much you want so show and tell! I personally don't publish names or faces off my family members. I write about my life but I don't tell too personal things.

How do you build a community around a blog and social media?

Visit other blogs and leave comments. Link your blog to Facebook and make it easy to follow your blog.
