Journal #107 : Confronting confirmation

Confronting confirmation refers to the process of addressing a need for information, beliefs, or actions to be confirmed or validated, whether from external sources or from within the organization. In this process, one may have to question their assumptions or ask others for confirmation of their beliefs. As well as reducing uncertainty, it can provide clarity about a situation. In addition, it can allow one to gain feedback and develop a better understanding of themselves. Having a conversation with a confirmation can provide clarity and understanding about a situation. It reduces anxiety and builds confidence in oneself and one's actions.
