My Sustainability Goals

Sustainability is  the idea that goods and services should be produced in ways that do not use resources that cannot be replaced and that do not damage the environment

My Goals on Sustainability :

  • Check Car Tyre air pressures on time - in order to avoid extra cost on fuel

  • No Meat - A study last year by researchers at the University of Oxford, published in the journal Nature, showed meat and dairy produces 60% of agriculture’s greenhouse gas emissions and takes up 83% of farmland, but delivers just 18% of calories and 37% of protein.

  • Don't Eat BF / lunch / Dinner from outside - Consumes more resources than from Home Made

  • Don't Consume Any type of drinks in plastic bottles - In order to avoid plastic waste

  • Service Air Conditioners on Time - In order to Consume less energy than with lots of dust inside

  • Use Re chargeable Batteries - They're better for the environment

  • Turn Off the Power Strips When Not in Use - They Consume Electricity When it is ON , even your device is not using.

  • Car Pool - Is the best way to reduce the Carbon Emission

  • Buy Local Produce - They only require less transportation and hence less carbon emission

  • Use Stainless Steel Blades for Shaving - Low cost and Eco product

  • Minimalism -The best version of minimalism would prioritize eco-friendly products, recycling, re-purposing, sharing and other sustainable practices

  • Buy High Quality Items instead of Cheap Offers - Quality items will last longer

  • Energy Star Rated Products - The Energy Star program was established by the Environmental Protection Agency in 1992 and operates under the authority of the Clean Air Act, section 103(g), and the 2005 Energy Policy Act, section 131 (which amended the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, section 324).Since 1992, Energy Star and its partners have reduced various energy bills by at least $430 billion

  • Use CFL and LED Bulbs - Energy Efficient

  • Donate Things - Donating cloths or other things which can be usable is the best way to reduce the material waste.

  • Reading Ebooks And Listening to Audio Books instead of Paper Books - Ebooks save space and thus transport and CO2 per kg when it comes to distribution
