Journal #114 : Persuasion

Persuasion involves influencing someone's convictions, attitudes, or behaviors in a positive way. The pillars of persuasive communication are ethos, pathos, and logos, which appeal to credibility, emotions, and logic. A good persuader builds trust, connects emotionally, and provides logical reasons. A skilled persuader can convince a skeptical audience to back a new environmental initiative. By appealing to the community's shared values of sustainability and highlighting its potential benefits, the persuader inspired change and created a sense of collective responsibility. To inspire trust and belief in the cause, you could also use social proof by showcasing real life examples of individuals.
